Men ejected from Saudi festival, deported for 'being too handsome'

An annual culture festival in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh was interrupted when three men from the United Arab Emirates stand were ejected for being too handsome. "A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds [that] they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them," a news service said, adding that "the festival's management took urgent measures to deport the three to Abu Dhabi." We have this problem a lot. In fact, a prerequisite of employment at our site is at least one prior arrest for extreme handsomeness or beauty.

Man Deported From Saudi Arabia For Being Too Handsome
"I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is" - Derek Zoolander

An annual culture festival in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh was interrupted when three men from the United Arab Emirates stand were ejected for being too handsome. 10 hrs agoLadies, say hello to Omar Borkan Al Gala. Or just make whatever sound you can after being completely overwhelmed by his handsomeness (which we show in all its glory in the photos above). The Dubai-based actor, photographer and poet (SWOON!) was one of the three men who were deported from Saudi Arabia because authorities deemed them "too handsome" and worried that women would lose their minds, tear their clothing off and throw themselves at their feet. We're considering it anyway, especially after reading Al Gala's Facebook page, which is full of "When Harry Met Sally" quotes and posts like "If you need to be happy, I'll be your smile. But anytime you need a friend, I'll just be me." Can anyone get this guy deported to our apartment?

What to wear this summer!!

Hello, how are you?
Today, you are going to see:

Favorite looks for Spring/ Summer 2013

Believe it or not, spring is nearly over and it's time to start thinking about the warm summer months ahead. While you'restocking up on SPF, planning your annual BBQ and figuring out a way to maximize your "Summer Fridays," you should also consider your wardrobe.
Thankfully, many of the trends that were in style for spring are still going to be in full force through the fall -- all it takes is a little modifying. If you want to give the luxe leather trend a go, make sure you try the material in a mini skirt or a tank top (it's time to put your leather jacket away). Instead of sporting overalls (the hottest item of 2013), why not opt for a pair of shortalls to let your legs breathe while the temps rise?
To celebrate the start of summer, we've compiled a list of the top ten trends of the season, everything from midi skirts to holographic accessories, plus shoppable versions you can score yourself. It's never been so easy to be in fashion! Happy summer everyone -- may we suggest you kick it off with a pair of lucite heels?
